Borrowing from the successful concept of our Atani Titanium Tent Stakes, we have now implemented a T-Beam design to our offering. This is intended to fit the gap in our offering for an ultralight, ultra high performance to weight ratio tent stake that is suitable to be used in the harshest conditions on the primary tie outs of your shelter. The Atani T-Beam is designed to be thin and wide, with a small cross sectional area which will easily plunge into hard ground without disturbing and loosening the surrounding ground, reducing holding strength. The added perpendicular beam of titanium is laser welded along it’s length for the ultimate in rigidity, allowing a thinner main body section, and should be oriented on the opposite side of the tie out of the shelter. The design of the Atani T-Beam is such that the first 1/3 of the stake is the thinnest, allowing for easy piercing of the ground, and steps up in both width and thickness as you move up to the head of the tent stake. This is the most efficient use of material to save weight and increase the performance ratio. The innovative design of the Atani  T-Beam Titanium Tent Stakes include a wide upper portion to withstand guy-line forces at the source while the lower section is sharp and thin in order to penetrate hard ground. The upper indentation captures the loop in your guy-line and holds it secure when inserted into the ground and the flat design creates an anti-rotation characteristic. Each Atani T-Beam Tent Stake comes with a high visibility tie loop.

This beta release has been long-term tested by our adventure team members. We are working on increasing the efficiency of the manufacturing process, as well as the cosmetic appearance, so expect a very raw looking product but without any performance issues. Because of this, we offer this batch at a lower price than what you will see when we release our first final batch at a later date. The complicated and intricate manufacturing process, unfortunately means we are not able to make large batches of this product.
