SOUTH-WEST ICELAND

The Laugavegur Trail is a famous trek in Southwest Iceland that runs from Landmannalauger to Thorsmork and then up and over the high pass to Skogafoss. This 77km route is often partially completed when trekkers stop in Thorsmork, covering only 55km…don’t be that person 😉 The final push from Thorsmork to Skogafoss is incredible and shouldn’t be missed. I did the full trail in 3 days, before the road to Landmannalauger even opened. It was unbelievable!
