This is where all the fun begins! Here you will find various projects that I work on in my spare time. Some of them are new products that I intend to offer in the future while others are simple home made projects that I just want to use in the field. Each section contains the specifications of the product along with the manufacturing process. Also, if something really catches your eye or you have a better idea/design input, let us know. If enough people are interested then I may just bring it into production or add your input in the design!

CC SNOWSHOES (CARBON FIBER/CUBEN FIBER)
These took me about 7 months to design and build. But now they finally are here. The lightest snowshoes in the world! Measuring 9 inches wide and 32 inches long, they offer 288 square inches of surface area at a weight of only 30.4 oz per pair!

TITANIUM WALKING CRAMPONS R3
These Titanium Walking Crampons are very similar to the previous version except I changed them slightly to eliminate the excessive flex in the teeth. Each side of the crampon is now made of a 2 piece weldment. Best part about them is that they are now even stronger than before and weigh a measely 5.51 oz!

CUSTOM 0*F NUNATAK RAKU
I had Tom from Nunatak build me a custom version of his Raku. He added a number of custom options that allow me to take this down to 0*F (-20*C). I know this looks like a little bit of an odd piece of gear, but this one item replaces my sleeping bag, down jacket, down pants, and insulating balaclava.

TITANIUM WALKING CRAMPON R2
At a mere 5.5 ounces per pair, Revision 2 of the Titanium Walking Crampons underwent major surgery and include some serious upgrades over my original TWC's. These will be undergoing some testing before being offered in the Products section, but start working overtime because these aren't going to be cheap!

TREKKING POLE CAMERA MOUNT
A simple solution to mounting your camera on the handle of your trekking pole. The trekking pole is stuck into the ground and the camera mounted on the top. This makes using the self timer function much easier for those of you, like me, that hike solo.

GAS CANISTER COZY
I needed a way to keep my gas canister warm when melting snow during winter trips. I looked for some to buy at first, but I couldn't find one, so I just made my own. Best part about it is that it weighs nothing...literally. It doesn't even register on my scale.

N2 CUBEN FIBER FLAT TARP
Measuring 52" X 110" and weighing 1.8 ounces, this super ultra lightweight tarp is sized for the biggest of hikers. And no need to be jealous my friends, I made a video covering all the steps needed to manufacture one of these for yourself!

CUSTOM 32" THERMAREST NEOAIR
Do you know anybody who has modified the length of one of the new Thermarest Neoairs yet? Me neither! So, I grabbed my scissors, cut, and resealed mine to eliminate weight and bulk. I even made a video to show you how to do it too!
